Tropical Bee Paradise Handbag

This one-of-a-kind handbag is sure to be a show stopper! It features real taxidermy bee in resin that is sewn on a hand-appliqued layered flower. He is waiting on command to sting anyone who crosses you! I used recycled scraps of leather, mesh silk, and Swarovski beads within the flower to give it richness and depth. It also has a brass removable shoulder strap making it a evening bag OR cluth depending on your mood! The bag itself is made from beautiful copper leather and a sheer burn out butterfly print over an embroidered green fabric. I then machine stitched a floral print on top. For the finishing touches I wove blue silk and ribbon around the edges and hung some more sparkling Swarovski beads.
